I am pleased to announce that I will be playing the historic suffragette Alice Paul in Making HERstory with the Women's Journey Foundation. Alice Paul was a feminist and human right activists who was instrumental in the passage of the 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote. Alice Paul will share the stage with other courageous women such as Eleanor Roosevelt, Harriett Tubman, RBG, and many more! I hope you will consider learning a bit more about the inspirational women who are rarely mentioned throughout history in this dramatization of their lives.

 I am pleased to announce that I am teaming up again with director Michael Eiden and playwright/director Susan C. Hunter for Summer Shorts, A Festival of Short Plays at Write Act Repertory, presented at The Brickhouse Theatre in North Hollywood. I will be portraying Delphine Gallow in Breaking News, where 3 women tell the story of how the important men in their lives brought their individual worlds to disastrous collapse, Harlow Jenning in The Actress's New Face, a fairy-tale inspired aging movie star in pursuit of reclaimed beauty, and Mother in The Mother, a delusional desert homesteader waiting for her husband to come home. Please come join us for a night of great plays written by the fabulous Susan C. Hunter.

Yesterday afternoon we closed The Little Dog Laughed at GWC's Stage West Theatre.

I feel so blessed to have walked in Diane's shoes. I cannot express how much I love this role. My only wish is that I could have had a longer run with her. It is my deepest hope that I will be able to revisit this role one day. She is a dream role that I would happily return to over and over again.

Douglas Carter Beane's writing is superb. His characters are interesting, clever, funny, flawed, and everything an actor could hope for. Under the direction of Jill Cary Martin I really got to flex my acting muscles, take on new challenges, and breathe life into my character. I will miss this show very much.

I am pleased to announce that I will be playing Diane in The Little Dog Laughed at Stage West Theatre (Golden West College). It isn't often that I come across a project this exciting! The moment I read this play I knew I had to be a part it. This production will be a limited engagement - 3 performances only! - so be sure to save the dates: April 6th-8th, 2018.

This tony award nominated play is truly spectacular! Not to mention, the playwright Douglas Carter Beane, wrote one of my favorite screenplays - To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar! I am pleased to announce that I have been cast as Alice Dearth in Dear Brutus by J.M. Barrie at STAGEStheatre! I have always been a huge fan of Peter Pan and the beautiful magic of J.M. Barrie's stories. I can't wait to escape into the forest on Midsummer's Eve in this rarely performed play. More info. coming soon.

I feel very blessed to have to opportunity to play Charlotte in Moon Over Buffalo. It has been a challenge, but also a hell of a lot of fun. I could not have asked for a better team of actors and creators to work beside. Each and every one has helped me grow. I don't usually feel the post show blues. I leave my performance on the stage the same way I leave real life drama at the door when I enter the theatre, but this one is a bitter sweet ending. This role brought me so much happiness and humor that it is difficult to let go. I will never forget the many faces of Charlotte and my dear companion in scene one, the rubber chicken.

I have been cast as the illustrious Charlotte Hay in Moon Over Buffalo at STAGEStheatre. I will be reuniting with Bedroom Farce director Amanda DeMaio to bring you this hilarious farce by Ken Ludwig. If you are familiar with her work, then you know you are in for a treat!

Now I know what you are thinking: "Isn't Charlotte Hay out of your age range?" Well, I thought so too. I entered the audition room intent on auditioning for the supporting role of Rosalind, only to be asked to read of Charlotte. And let me tell you, I am so very glad that the director had the insight to suggest that I might be better suited for Charlotte. I actually have a love and fondness for Charlotte, but I thought she was beyond my reach. I thought, "I'm too young. No one will take me seriously." And I was wrong. I should have trusted my instincts and aimed high. Thank goodness Amanda set me on a better path. "A chameleon" she called me, and a chameleon I will be.

So I encourage you, even when the devil on your shoulder tells you you are too fat, too young, too tall, too whatever, to follow your intuition. And most importantly, be adaptable, because sometimes the casting director will see something in you that you can't see in yourself. I believe everything happens for a reason, and I am so pleased this door was opened to me.

I am thrilled to begin this journey, which I know will involve a complete transformation in body and voice. Charlotte Hay, I am ready for you!

Rumors closed tonight with a bang! We had a wonderful audience of comedy lovers fueling our final performance. I will miss this lovely cast.
