The Fullerton Museum is proud to present the exhibit, “Forgotten Faces: The Comfort Women of World War II,” starting September 5 through November 1, 2015. As part of the exhibition, I have been cast in a play reading of Unrelenting Relation, written and directed by Amanda DeMaio. In conjunction with STAGEStheatre, the Fullerton Museum Center will provide a one-time-only reading in the museum gallery on September 26th. Please visit my Events or the City of Fullerton Website for more details. The subject matter of this project is very difficult, but it is important to give attention to the imaginable struggles of these women, forced into sexual slavery by the Imperial Japanese Army. I am honored to be a part of this project a give a voice to these women. |

I have been cast in The 39 Steps, a hilarious slap-stick comedy and whodunit thriller where 4 actors play dozens of roles. I am happy to be back at Stages Theatre for this award winning play. I will be portraying Annabella Schmidt (an exotic secret agent), Margaret (a mousy farmer's wife with big dreams), and Pamela (a beautiful woman unwillingly drawn into adventure by the dapper leading man). I am excited to work with director Jill Johnson for the first time and meet the cast next week at our first read-through. I can't wait to get started!
I was invited back to perform for the Orange County Playwrights Alliance! On November 15th @ 2:30pm, we will present 3 new one-act plays written by local playwrights. Stage Door Repertory will be hosting the event. I have been asked to read the part of a European spy in the new comedy Spies Like Me by John Lane. Director Philip Brickey will be taking the reins again for this fantastical comedy. I can't wait to step into the world of international espionage.
10 years ago I joined the cast of FUHS’s production of Clare Boothe Luce's The Women as Peggy. Today I am ready to return to the play a little older and a little wiser. Thanks to my wonderful director Brandon Ferruccio, I am cast in Westminster Playhouse’s production of THE WOMEN as Mary. It's time to reinvent myself as Mrs. Stephen Haines! I am excited to work with Brandon for the first time and to meet the rest of the cast tomorrow night at our first read-through. Everything happens for a reason. When one door closes, another door opens, and sometimes doors reopen when least expected. I will be taking over the role of Kate in Bedroom Farce at STAGEStheatre. I have already been thrown into my first rehearsal and stumbled through the blocking of the entire show. I have a lot of work to do before we open in less than 4 weeks, but I am confident that it will all come together. I can't wait to meet the entire cast tomorrow.
I am proud to announce that I will be reuniting with director Kaitlyn Tice for another Shakespeare classic. Get ready for more bawdy jokes! This little lady is putting her man pants back on to play Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet at the Santa Fe Springs Playhouse. There will be 2 performances only, with an option to relocate the production to the La Habra Depot for additional performances.
The first read-through is tonight. I am looking forward to beginning this journey. Let's get Queen Mab's chariot on the road! Zounds the Montague and Capulet groupies! - It's TEAM MERCUTIO all the way! Great news everyone! I just booked my first role since my return to California. I have been cast as Gertrude in Hamlet at the La Habra Depot. Now I know what you are thinking: are you even old enough to play Gertrude? To this I reply: age is only a number. I am very excited to begin this project with some Chapman University Alums and some new faces as well. The talented Rudolph Niemann is playing the title role, Timothy Roscoe is playing opposite me as Claudius, and Kaitlyn Tice is directing. Who could ask for more? A talented cast and director, along with the words of William Shakespeare! I am truly blessed.
